Informujemy, że sieć INTERACT (International Network for Terrestrial Research and Monitoring in the Arctic) ogłosiła nabór wniosków na wykorzystywanie infrastruktury 43 stacji badawczych zrzeszonych w ww. sieci (w tym do Polskiej Stacji Polarnej Hornsund na Spitsbergenie, jak również do innych stacji położonych w Europie, Rosji i Ameryce Płn. związanych z badaniami i monitoringiem Arktyki).
Konkurs dotyczy projektów, których realizacja planowana jest pomiędzy marcem 2019 r. a kwietniem 2020 r. Termin składania wniosków upływa 12 października 2018 roku.

Jednym z warunków uzyskania finansowania jest korzystanie z infrastruktury należącej do innego kraju niż ta, z którego pochodzi osoba aplikująca. Oznacza to, że naukowcy z Polski nie mogą aplikować o sfinansowanie dostępu do Polskiej Stacji Polarnej Hornsund, mogą to natomiast robić naukowcy z zagranicy. W związku z powyższym, zwracamy się z prośbą o przekazanie informacji o konkursie Państwa kolegom i współpracownikom z instytucji naukowych z zagranicy (treść informacji w wersji angielskiej poniżej). Być może zachęci ich to do skorzystania z oferty dostępu do Polskiej Stacji Polarnej Hornsund na Spitsbergenie. INTERACT Transnational Access Call is open for projects taking place between March 2019 and April 2020. The EU H2020 funded INTERACT(International Network for Terrestrial Research and Monitoring in the Arctic) opens a call for research groups to apply for Transnational Access to 43 research stations across the Arctic and northern alpine and forest areasin Europe, Russia and North-America. The sites represent a variety of glacier,mountain, tundra, boreal forest, peatland andfreshwater ecosystems, providing opportunities for researchers from natural sciences to human dimension. Transnational Accessincludes free access (either physicalor remote) for user groups/users to research facilities and field sites, including support for travel and logistic costs. Overall, INTERACT provides three different modalities of access: Transnational and Remote Accessthat are applied through annual calls, and Virtual Accesswhich means free access to data from stations, available at all times through the INTERACT VA single-entry point. The call for Transnational and Remote Access applications is open on 13thAugust -12thOctober, 2018, for projects taking place between March 2019 and April 2020.
